    Since establishing his first business in 2003 Richard has worked as commercial director and managing director in a number of businesses on an interim or equity basis, as well as buying and selling various businesses along the way. In addition to running Pegasus he also heads up a marketing and communications agency based in Rutland.

    Richard acts as Non-Executive Director in a variety of sectors which includes telecoms, PR, a trading company of a charity in the utilities sector, a renewables business and technology businesses providing advice on commercial and strategic direction. as well as chairing the board.

    Richard has assisted businesses with writing business plans, to obtain debt and/or equity funding and as well as put in place debt solutions to support business growth, capital acquisition and refinancing.

    He has always worked on a partnership basis with all his clients, quickly identifying the key areas to drive through improvements within business.

    In his spare time, Rich plays Vets rugby and is a sports spectator and rambler.

    Gautam has worked for almost two decades in strategy, corporate finance, business planning and corporate development in industry-leading organisations across sectors and geographies.

    He worked on writing strategic and business plans as well as drawing out the new market strategy at Prudential plc and played a key role in rolling out operations in Africa. He led the corporate finance and strategy management functions at Prudential’s life insurance venture in India. He also has a diverse experience with Unilever in various finance, commercial operations and supply chain roles.

    Gautam runs a strategic advisory and business development consultancy in the UK and is a partner on a property development company. At Pegasus, he focuses on helping start-up and growth businesses with delivering multiple solutions to their financing needs, writing business plans and building business models to maximize their value.

    Richard started his career in R&D before moving into product management and international marketing for News Digital Systems, part of News Corp. At News, he managed the introduction of new technology to consumer manufacturers, semiconductor vendors and large media ventures that enabled the worldwide launch of Digital TV. He became MD of a high-tech software start-up and developed the business from scratch, raising grants and venture finance along the way.

    Over the past 13 years, he has run his own consultancy business acting as mentor, consultant and coach to multiple high-growth businesses including start-ups, corporate and university spin-outs as well as established ventures seeking transformational change. His services include advanced business planning, providing help and support to entrepreneurs to obtain early stage funds (government grants, loans, private equity) to finance leading-edge innovations.

    Richard has personal experience of pitching for funding into business angels including pitching to Dragons’ Den! His latest venture succeeded in raising seed capital from a US business angel in 2010 and exited in 2015 with a $25 million trade sale.

    Bob has 30 years’ experience as a managing director of businesses in the logistics and industrial sectors. He has worked with both plc’s and private groups of companies improving business performance through growth, cost control, finance and organizational change. He has an in-depth experience of growing, and turning around businesses in the industrial, manufacturing and logistics sectors.

    He has substantial experience as a main board director and as managing director of subsidiaries in both public and private companies and was a main board director with Clugston Group Limited, a construction, logistics and property group, before setting up his own consultancy business in 2011.

    Peter has more than 30 years of corporate experience, including European Managing Director and European Vice President roles, in leading companies in the Multimedia, Document and Training Management, Online Auctions, Telecommunications and Global Sourcing sectors. This experience encompasses the creation of the start-up operations throughout Europe right through to final IPO or trade sale.

    Having co-founded Pegasus Funding Resources Peter specialises in helping other start-up and growth companies to prepare themselves for funding and to introduce them to sources of finance. In particular Peter uses his experience to guide companies through the business plan writing process and the challenge of not only presenting to investors but also of being well prepared for the unexpected questions that will follow.
